Planning is underway to introduce a Student Showcase at the conclusion of the MLK Walk-a-Thon, in collaboration with the Riverside African American Historical Society. The showcase will feature cultural performances, spoken word, and civic reflections tied to Dr. King’s legacy. This expands Day of Inclusion into the broader community, aligning with the Museum’s mission of public history and cultural education.

The walk begins at Bordwell Stratton Park and ends in downtown Riverside at the Main Library
